CBC gets yoga studio “cancelled” — for following WHO guidelines

Here in British Columbia, we have graduated to Phase 3 of the coronavirus lockdown.

This means many businesses like gyms are re-opened, but with limitations.

You would think that Canadians would be happy to support small businesses right now, right?

Cancel Culture Comes For Yoga

That doesn’t seem to be the case at all for one yoga studio, located on Commercial Drive in Vancouver, BC, that is being victimized by a cancel culture mob because CBC misrepresented why the studio didn’t force patrons to wear masks.

I came across a CBC news article with a headline that read: “Vancouver yoga studio turns away customers who want to wear face masks, says patron.”

What Makes Bikram Unique?

Seemed like a rather bold stance for a yoga studio -- unless you know they specialize in Bikram yoga.

For those of you who don’t know, Bikram is often called “hot yoga”, with studios raising the temperature as high as 41 degrees Celsius!

Naturally, I read CBC’s article in full to see if I could find clarification regarding the yoga studio owners decision to ban masks practicing hot yoga.
