Trudeau threatens snap election over proposed anti-corruption investigation
On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, we looked at Trudeau's threat to call a snap election if an investigation into the corruption scandals concerning his friends and family.
Here's a bit of what Ezra had to say about Trudeau's mother, in particular:
I should remind you, Margaret Trudeau was born Margaret Sinclair. She was 22 years old when she married 51-year-old Pierre Trudeau. As you may know he repeatedly beat her; they separated in 1977 and divorced in 1984 — 36 years ago. And she remarried Fried Kemper two weeks later and took his name. They stayed married for 15 years.
So: she was called Margaret Sinclair for 22 years. Then she was married for six years, as Margaret Trudeau; and was separated for seven years until remarrying and becoming Margaret Kemper for 15 years, which was her last marriage.
Her name is not Margaret Trudeau.
