They did their part. They lined up, trusted the government, and took the shots marketed as “safe and effective.”

Now, countless Canadians are left broken, dismissed, and fighting a system that stopped at nothing to ensure the mass vaccination campaign rolled out seamlessly. But Conservative MP Dean Allison is refusing to let them wither away in silence.

On September 8, the Allison Inquiry launches on Parliament Hill for four days, giving a platform to roughly 50 of the more than 1,000 vaccine-injured Canadians who have already submitted their stories.

“This is a portion of the population that has been totally ignored, totally abandoned, and I feel like I wanted to help them tell their story,” Allison shared.

The response, he said, has been “overwhelming.” Over a thousand applications arrived despite the retraumatizing paperwork. “That should tell you something about how desperate people are to tell their stories… the depth and breadth of what’s going on out there in terms of injuries.”

Despite mainstream media framing, these are not anti-vaxxers. “Everyone that’s coming to talk are not anti-vax, they’re all vaccinated,” Allison stressed. They are the ones who complied — the nurses, truck drivers, parents — only to suffer debilitating injuries while being gaslit by doctors, regulators, and public health officials who called their symptoms “psychological” or mere “coincidences.”

Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support Program, launched alongside the rushed interim orders that authorized the shots, promised timely and fair compensation for supposedly ‘rare’ but serious harms. What victims got instead was bloated bureaucracy, endless delays, and mountains of forms that forced them to relive the trauma and be burdened by seemingly endless paper and documentation.

Allison has heard the same stories in his office for years: people ostracized by the medical system, ultimately abandoned by the very institutions that ordered them to inject.

“They’ve been basically ostracized, they’ve been abandoned, they’ve been gaslit,” he said.

At the time, regulators warned doctors against “misinformation” while whistleblowing physicians faced suspensions and investigations.

Naysayers question whether injuries even happened, while the government itself created a compensation program precisely because people were injured. “This was your freaking program,” Allison noted. “You introduced the vaccine injury support program because people were injured.”

One thing he is clear on is a call for accountability: “Any pharma company should be responsible for the products they put out.”

Pfizer’s early list of more than 1,200 potential side effects, the push to bury data for 75 years, and the billions in profits demand exactly this level of scrutiny, not blanket trust, suppression or censorship.

The hearings will feature injured Canadians and expert context on the failed support program. Independent media and the Allison Inquiry website will stream the proceedings as CPAC’s coverage remains uncertain until the morning of.

Allison’s message is simple and powerful: “My goal is really to give people permission to tell their stories… People need permission to speak publicly about this. And if they can’t do that, then the healing can’t begin.”

For five years the mainstream narrative, government messaging, and regulatory clubs enforced silence, the illusion of consensus through intimidation.

Support groups were taken down. Questions were branded conspiracy. Now, as Allison puts it, the only way forward is to break the echo chamber and force policymakers to listen.

These Canadians trusted the system, they strived to keep their communities “safe” and they lost health, careers, and dignity for it.

On September 8, their voices will be heard on Parliament Hill.
