Coronavirus in Canada: Travellers from Iran report NO SCREENING at Toronto’s Pearson Airport

Iran is currently one of the “hot spots” when it comes to the coronavirus, and news reports have announced that a number of the cases currently in Canada involve individuals who have returned here from Iran.

I travelled to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport on Sunday to speak with Iranian passengers getting off a flight from London. A few disturbing points: self-quarantine is still a voluntary measure, and passengers said there didn’t seem to be any enhanced screening procedures at the airport as they exited the aircraft.
