We, the undersigned, demand the immediate removal of Dr. Theresa Tam from her position as Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer.

Dr. Tam’s recent endorsement of the new Moderna Spikevax COVID-19 injection for children as young as 6 months old is both reckless and irresponsible. This vaccine was authorized without proper safety testing in children under 18, and its clinical trials won’t even be completed until November 17, 2023, over 12 weeks after it was approved for public use.

Despite the lack of evidence proving the vaccine’s safety and efficacy in young children, Dr. Tam is pushing this unproven vaccine onto our most vulnerable citizens. This is a serious failure in leadership and public health responsibility.

We believe that Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer should prioritize science, safety, and transparency. Dr. Tam has failed to do so by promoting a vaccine with no completed safety data for children.

It’s time for Dr. Tam to be held accountable for putting children at risk, and for failing to ensure that public health decisions are based on solid, reliable scientific evidence.

We are calling on the government to fire Dr. Theresa Tam and replace her with someone who will protect Canadians, not push untested vaccines on vulnerable populations.
