Justice Watch: Judge Sanjeev Anand gives former realtor house arrest after “Make antisemitism great again” post
Brandon Taylor Moore received an 18-month conditional sentence after pleading guilty in June following an investigation into antisemitic posts published through his X account.

A former Saskatoon realtor convicted of publicly inciting hatred against Jewish people will serve his sentence at home after Judge Sanjeev Anand accepted a joint recommendation for an 18-month conditional sentence.
Brandon Taylor Moore, 45, pleaded guilty in June following an investigation into antisemitic posts published through his X account, which had approximately 180,000 followers.
According to an agreed statement of facts, Moore posted frequently between February 2024 and December 2025. Some of the material incited hatred against Jewish people, including an image of Adolf Hitler captioned, “Make antisemitism great again.”
Anand accepted the sentence proposed jointly by Crown prosecutor David Piche and Moore, who represented himself.
Moore must remain under 24-hour house arrest for the first six months, followed by six months under a nightly curfew. He must also complete 150 hours of community service and remove the offending posts.
Moore was also charged with unsafe storage of a firearm, wilfully promoting hatred and wilfully promoting antisemitism. Those charges were stayed during Monday’s sentencing hearing and were not proven in court.
Several Jewish organizations and community members submitted impact statements describing the anxiety and fear caused by Moore’s posts.
Holocaust survivor Gershon Willinger said the material reopened wounds from the murder of his family.
“I recognized the same hatred that destroyed my family, only expressed through technology of today,” his statement read.
David Katzman of Congregation Agudas Israel recalled older synagogue members warning him during the 1970s that antisemitism never truly disappears, but waits for the right conditions to return.
Moore told the court that the war in Gaza prompted his posts and acknowledged responsibility for how his statements could be interpreted.
Anand said Moore was free to criticize a government, but his comments crossed the line by targeting an entire people with a history of systemic discrimination and attempted extermination.
