McKenna flees another Alberta press conference, still has no answers for 20,000 missing projects
Catherine McKenna joined Premier Jason Kenney to make an announcement about the future of irrigable farm land in southern Alberta.
The federal minister joined via video link for what was only her second consecutive announcement in the province. It is almost as if she doesn’t like Alberta or something!
During her last announcement, in a strange move that made every reporter and government representative in the room cringe, McKenna hung up the call after I asked her about her infamous missing projects.
This time, she didn’t even bother to stay around for questions — in fact, she hung up halfway through the speeches of Premier Kenney and other government ministers.
Catherine McKenna has just hung up from the irrigation announcement that will Shepherd safe crop water to Alberta farms. This is the second consecutive press conference in Alberta that McKenna has left without taking questions. https://t.co/GlBpyPIVRc pic.twitter.com/OS9XWmRNqK

Luckily, the head of the Canada Infrastructure Bank, Michael Sabia, was on the roster of participants, so the question could be posed to him: What exactly happened to those projects?
