SendTwo restaurants in Melbourne say they'll be reopening from Monday no matter what Daniel Andrews says.
Owner of the Honest Indian Restaurant in Dandenong, Minid Patel, reached out to Rebel News via iWillOpen.com.au.
Minid Patel told me that the premier's roadmap "leads to nowhere for the hospitality industry."
Last Sunday, the premier hinted to restaurants opening on November 1 that their maximum capacity would be 20 patrons.
"We have a capacity of over 100 people, and it would cost us more than we would make to only open for 20", Minid added.
Neighbouring businesses of the Dandenong restaurant have already been forced to shut their doors forever.
Patel says this is his last chance to save his business and is pleading for the government to support him, not fine his business.
Sweta Patel says her restaurant has "suffered for too long," and she has to open now.
Lala's Kitchen in Boronia also plans to reopen from this Monday at 5:30pm.
Both owners say they will take all COVID-19 precautions, which includes hiring more staff to keep all surfaces disinfected at all times.
This comes as CrossFit in Sale plans to open their doors on Saturday in defiance of lockdown restrictions:
Last week a hair salon and retail shop opened in Melbourne.
