Modern art to stop global warming: Can you stare at this woman for 2 minutes?
It’s day 2 of our visit to the UN climate change conference in Madrid, Spain, and things are weird.
I came here with an open mind, willing to learn. It’s with that attitude that I found myself participating in an interactive art exhibit based on one done by Marina Abramovic in New York City in 2010.
Don’t worry, I wasn’t “spirit cooking” with Hillary Clinton. I was “silent sitting” so there was no body fluids involved.
Instead, I spent the longest 2 minutes of my life staring into the eyes of an elderly woman in the name of fighting the so-called climate emergency and it was one of the strangest things I’ve ever done in this job.
And if the planet is saved, you’re welcome, friends!
