Rebel News security stepped in and stopped an extremist thief at today’s left-wing anti-Pauline Hanson rally in Melbourne.

In the middle of a live cross, a protester ripped the microphone from News24 reporter Georgie Dickerson’s hands. She had to chase the thief through the crowd to get it back. The protest was heavily promoted by Mehreen Faruqi and the Greens. Faruqi even filmed a “permission slip” video encouraging students to skip school and march. What played out on Melbourne streets was a day of chaos as socialist and Marxist groups, many in pro-Hamas attire, worked the crowd, trying to sign up kids in their early teens to their radical causes.

Adults were everywhere among the children. Most of those schoolkids appeared without parents. The organisers had told them to take the day off to “stop the far right.” The result was a packed, volatile scene with the real risk of violence hanging over the minors in the middle of it.
