Regina woman told man couldn't be kicked out of women's change room
It all started when Bev posted the story to a local Facebook group. It took some help from the community to track her down, but once I did, I sat down with her to hear it from her directly.

In episode three of our 'No Balls in Women's Stalls' series, we meet Bev, a Regina woman of a certain vintage, wisdom, and grit.
It all started with a story Bev posted on the Regina Rant & Rave OG Facebook group.
Bev's post said:
Today, I was changing at an indoor pool. A young man came into the room and proceeded to undress, and when told he was in the ladies' change room, he replied that he can go into any change room he wants to. Talking to the staff, I was told he could not be kicked out, as the city policy is anyone can go into any change room. My question is: can I have him charged with indecent exposure?
I turned to the internet and asked the people of Regina if they could help me find Bev. Within a weekend, two of North Regina's finest food service workers recognized Bev, and the next time she came into their restaurant, they showed her my video and walked her through the tech side of checking her Facebook messages. It was an intergenerational regional miracle.
Bev is a gift. She was a childcare provider for 40 years and, for the first time in her life, instead of taking care of her own three children and everyone else's, Bev is taking care of herself and has found that she enjoys the benefits of water therapy. She patronizes all of the Regina Public Pools, going five days a week, and has been for years.
In this interview, you're going to hear about how Bev stood up for the truth even when she knew it was the hard thing — but the right thing — to do. I was honoured to sit at her table.
