No Climate Emergency

The city of Calgary declared a climate emergency in hopes of adjusting the city's emissions to net-zero by 2050. Follow along on this page for updates.

On November 16, 2021, Councillor Raj Dhaliwal’s motion to declare a state of emergency in Calgary, a declaration which has been a priority for mayoral newcomer Jyoti Gondek, was approved by city council.

Now, in an attempt to get to net-zero emissions by 2050, Gondek and company want to spend $ 87 billion on low carbon technology — meaning that they want to spend more than $62,000 for every man, woman, and child on this unhinged environmental initiative.

We need oil and gas, and we need to stop this climate hysteria.

Help us take a stand against climate hysteria by signing our petition on this page.
