Trinity Western University tried to open up a law school, but the law societies in Canada wouldn't accept them.
Canadian law societies – secretive committees of lawyers in each province – blacklisted all students from a law school, Trinity Western University in B.C., because of that school’s Christian student code of conduct.
Rebel News teamed up with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms and fought the decision in court. There were victories and losses along the way, and the losses were appealed all the way to the supreme court.
