Rebel News reporter Katie Daviscourt has arrived in Arizona to cover the astonishingly slow vote count by that state’s election officials. Curiously, the Democratic candidate for governor, Katie Hobbs, just happens to be the incumbent Secretary of State — the public official responsible for overseeing elections!
Hobbs is running against Kari Lake, a Republican candidate endorsed by Donald Trump. Hobbs refused to debate Lake during the campaign.
As of Saturday morning — four days after the election — barely 80% of votes had been counted, and Lake and Hobbs were within one percent of each other.
Who will win? And can a vote-counting process that stretches into weeks be trusted by voters?
These are some of the questions that our reporter Katie Daviscourt will ask in the days ahead. If you think it’s important to ask the questions that the mainstream media won’t, please help us with our citizen journalism.
Katie flew economy class to Phoenix and is staying at a modest AirBNB, but the cost of her trip will likely still be $2,000. Can you please help us crowdfund this important mission?
We’ll keep you posted with regular updates, so make sure to check back every day!
