Despite being promoted under the guise of keeping Canadians safe, this government-mandated tracking app is yet another failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There is already a magnitude of nonsense coming out of Canadian airports, and the ArriveCan app is not only hindering airports more, but it is also a seizure of personal information by the government, which should be protected under section 8 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
So, Rebel News is working with a Canadian charity called The Democracy Fund to fight back in four ways.
- LEGAL: Our lawyer friends at The Democracy Fund are studying the law and constitution to see if they can take on a great case against this app.
-
TELL US YOUR STORY: The Democracy Fund is looking for an applicant to strategically challenge the constitutionality of ArriveCan. If you are a Canadian citizen who has been charged under the Quarantine Act for not using ArriveCan and you have a special reason for wanting to keep your vaccination status private, please fill out this form.
- PETITION: On this page, you can sign our petition against the ArriveCan app. If you sign that petition, we’ll also keep you updated about the latest news on this project.
- JOURNALISM: We will continue reporting on the outrageous fines and use of this app. Someone needs to shine a light on Trudeau's constitutional abuses.
We're going to try and put public pressure through independent journalism and legal means to stop the unconstitutional ArriveCan app.
