The CRA denied all but 5% of religious exemptions to vaccine mandate
Just 32 Canada Revenue Agency staff out of a total of 550 were granted a religious exemption to the federally imposed COVID-19 vaccine requirement in workplaces, new access to information documents show.
Footnotes in the documents also indicate that department heads felt the number of exemptions being granted was too high, and subsequently, bureaucrats opened investigations into the managers who granted them.
The federal government announced a vaccine requirement for all federal and federally regulated industries on December 7, 2021. The mandate was subsequently repealed in June 2022, but not before thousands of federal employees were either unlawfully coerced into a vaccine or placed on leave-without-pay — a constructive dismissal — for failing to get vaccinated or provide proof of vaccination.
The registered Canadian charity, The Democracy Fund, is engaged in strategic litigation against the vaccine mandates. To make a tax-deductible donation to support their work, please visit www.FightVaccinePassports.com
