The Rebel in Iraq: Inside a camp for Christians and Yazidis, the “forgotten refugees”

As part of The Rebel’s mission to Iraq, I visited a camp for the forgotten refugees: the Christians and Yazidis who risk further persecution if they enter a UN camp full of Muslims.

In this camp, I saw evidence of international humanitarian aid efforts.

The Japanese, for example, haven’t taken in very many refugees, but have chosen to spend their money here on the ground instead.

I saw flags of the US, Australia, Saudi Arabia — but no Canadian flag, except on a maternity centre that was a project instituted by former PM Stephen Harper.

But as our own Faith Goldy reported earlier, PM Trudeau, cut off funding for this project.

It’s just another example of the way the Christian victims of ISIS are being further mistreated, or simply ignored, by the West.

We invite you to help us change that:

VISIT SaveTheChristians.com to learn how you can be part of the humanitarian efforts.

“Ayan Ray, ever the muslim apologist and hater of efforts to help Christians. Wow, taqiyya at it’s worst.”

    Does the truth hurt?

Ezra Levant and the like are only highlighting terrorists persecuting Christians, a sad example of biased and divisive coverage in order to blow things out of proportion.

Ezra Levant and the like are not helping Christian victims of terrorist incidents carried out by White Christians. Why?

In EU, White people are responsible for the vast majority of terrorist incidents.

“The largest number of attacks in which the terrorist affiliation could be identified were carried out by ethno-nationalist and separatist extremists (99). Attacks carried
out by left-wing violent extremists have been on the rise since 2014; they reached
a total of 27 in 2016, of which most (16) were reported by Italy. The number of
jihadist terrorist attacks decreased from 17 in 2015 to 13 in 2016, of which 6 were
linked to the so-called Islamic State (IS).

Apart from jihadist, ethno-nationalist and left-wing extremist attacks, an increasing
stream of violent assaults by right-wing extremist individuals and groups was
noted across Europe, in particular over the past two years, targeting asylum
seekers and ethnic minorities in general. An average of nearly 10 attacks a day were carried out on refugees in Germany in 2016, according to Germany’s Interior Ministry, as reported in open source media."

Ezra Levant and the like are wrong when they claim terrorists are just after non-Muslims. Muslims are victims of terrorism to a far greater extent than non-Muslims. Here’s the truth.

“In cases where the religious affiliation of terrorism casualties could be determined, Muslims suffered between 82 and 97% of terrorism-related fatalities over the past five years.”

“Between 2004 and 2013 about half of all terrorist attacks, and 60% of fatalities due to terrorist attacks, took place in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan – all of which have a mostly Muslim population.”

“Most terrorist attacks are rooted in geopolitics. Religion is certainly a part of them, but it is not the only part.”

Or is pointing out that Muslims are victims of terrorism to a far greater extent than non-Muslims and in EU, White people are responsible for the vast majority of terrorist incidents not good for generating web traffic and selling books?
