Toronto Jewish-owned food store firebombed and vandalized. 'Free Palestine' spray-painted on the shop’s walls. Golly, who would have done that?

It’s appalling, but at the same time, it is oh so predictable. After all, Toronto Police have shamefully turned a blind eye to months of lawlessness being carried out by pro-Hamas demonstrators.

It’s a brand-new year, but the same old vile hatred of Jews continues to fester in our dominion.

The latest affront to civilization: International Deli Foods in northwest Toronto was recently firebombed. As well, the shop had its windows smashed and the walls were peppered with graffiti stating, “Free Palestine.”

Did we mention that International Deli Foods is a Jewish-owned grocery store? Apparently, these days, this factor alone makes a business fair game for vandalism and boycott calls by the usual suspects. We saw this last year when such businesses as Café Landwer and Indigo were targeted.

But the arson attack against International Deli Foods makes for a new low via those “mostly peaceful” pro-Hamas protesters.

It’s appalling, but at the same time, it is oh so predictable. After all, Toronto Police have shamefully turned a blind eye to months of lawlessness being carried out by pro-Hamas demonstrators.

These thugs continue to trespass on private property, they block highways and bridges, they call for genocide; they tear down posters of Israelis being held hostage; they physically assault counterdemonstrators. And the cops seldom if ever press charges. Nor have the Blackface Liberals frozen any agitators' bank account. Now, why would that be?

And now comes an arson attack on a business presumably because it is Jewish-owned? Do Jews feel safe in Hogtown anymore? Are they starting to question if they are residing in 2024 Toronto – or Berlin of some 90 years ago?

The shop’s owner has so far declined media interviews. That is also what happens when the authorities allow blatant lawlessness to occur: law-abiding citizens and victims begin to question if the authorities are willing and able to protect them. This is what happens when fear and loathing take lease.

Coincidentally, International Deli Foods shares the same initials as the Israel Defense Forces: IDF.

Too bad the IDF military doesn’t have a base here in Canada. After all, IDF soldiers know how to take care of pro-Hamas thugs, and somebody needs to address what’s happening on the mean streets of Toronto these days. To borrow a military term, members of the Toronto Police Service are now AWOL when it comes to enforcing the law… or at least enforcing the law when it comes to a certain segment of reprobates.
