Trudeau, CBC struggle to justify Easter trip to “cottage” during lockdown
Justin Trudeau is flouting the rules, and the militantly pro-Trudeau Rosemary Barton of the CBC is covering for him.
During Trudeau's morning coronavirus update/propaganda session today, he was asked about his rule-breaking trip to the Prime Minister's Harrington Lake Cottage over Easter weekend.
Trudeau replied that because he’d previously announced that he was going to cross a provincial border, that made it all okay.
Of course this looks terrible for the Prime Minister, who is demanding that Canadians miss out on their lives and stay at home for an indefinite amount of time.
As if anticipating some pushback (possibly referencing Ontario Premier Ford’s specific request that people not visit their cottages last weekend), Rosemary Barton came to her dear Prime Minister's rescue.
The Canadian Pravda has spoken:
Trudeau is exempt from the rules because his summer cottage isn't a real cottage.
But remember, you plebeians best stay at home, maybe missing out on the last Easter your aging parents might ever see.
You're don't want people to die, do you?
