Trump on track to earn record black support in 2020 election

Depending on who you ask, Donald Trump either has both record setting black support or he's the most racist figure the country has ever seen.

So how much do black voters really support Trump?

Since 1960s the most black support for any Republican candidate for president was 15 per cent for George W Bush, in 2004.

Mitt Romney and John McCain on the other hand scored record lows before Trump won with 8 per cent of the black vote in 2016.

Trump's black support is polling at a whopping 35 per cent.

Even if those numbers average out, Trump would likely be in for big victory.
