We took David Barrett to court (and won) for falsely calling our reporter Sheila Gunn Reid a “Neo-Nazi”
On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, we covered the good news that the University of Calgary's David Barrett lost a case after falsely accusing Rebel reporter Sheila Gunn Reid of being a “Neo-Nazi”.
Calling someone a Nazi can have real-life consequences, so after Barrett ignored our first warning, we took stronger legal action.
Barrett was required to pay $1200, to bear his own legal costs and to keep an apology pinned to the top of his Twitter profile for a month straight.
