The persecution of Ontario’s Amish over the ArriveCAN app is such an insane story, you’d think every journalist in the country would cover it. They won't. Rebel News broke this story, and we're the only outlet covering it in detail — every court date, every hearing, we'll be there.

Here's what happened: Amish families crossed the border the same way they always have. Coming back, they were asked if they'd downloaded the ArriveCAN app. They don't own smartphones — it's not a quirk, it's their religion. They were convicted anyway, in absentia, without ever knowing they'd had a trial. Some families only found out when a lien showed up on the farm they're trying to pass down to their kids.

Working with The Democracy Fund, we've tracked down 32 of these cases so far. 24 families have had their fines stayed or zeroed out. But eight are still being prosecuted — their appeal is before the Ontario Court of Justice now, and the case could climb all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada. One couple alone owes $13,000 plus interest, for a family that sells pickles and jam for cash.

It's our duty — because the Amish can't speak for themselves, we have to be their voice. Every court date means sending a journalist and a cameraman, often two and a half hours outside Toronto, to make sure this story doesn't disappear the way the regime media would prefer.
