BUILD STEEL PIPELINES
Please help us cover the cost of reporting from Sault Ste. Marie.
Nearly 1,000 steelworkers at Algoma Steel in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, were laid off after U.S. tariffs doubled — and after government “solutions” failed yet again.
So Ezra Levant travelled to the Soo with videographer Lincoln Jay — and our Rebel News digital billboard truck — parking it right outside the steel plant gates to hear directly from the workers themselves.
We asked a simple question: Should Canadian steel be used to build Canadian oil pipelines?
Their answer was nearly unanimous: yes.
Workers told us pipelines would mean real demand, real jobs, and long-term stability — not another short-term bailout or political press conference.
Algoma management didn’t like the conversation and called the police. We kept filming anyway.
If you believe it’s important to hear directly from working Canadians — not politicians and bureaucrats — please help cover the cost of getting our team and billboard truck to Sault Ste. Marie, including travel, fuel, equipment, and an overnight hotel stay.
