Chip in to repeal Alberta's censorship law
A DJ from Westlock is facing eight days of hearings before the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal over a flyer — under section 3(1), the same law used on Ezra Levant for 900 days over the Danish cartoons. Danielle Smith has said herself that hate speech belongs in the Criminal Code, not a tribunal. Rebel News is running a permanent campaign to help her get it repealed.
Here's what your donation pays for: about $6,000 for our Highway 2 billboard between Calgary and Edmonton, where every delegate driving to the UCP convention will see it, and roughly $17,000 for the petition, our presence at that convention in Calgary from November 27 to 29, and ads on Alberta's independent media.
Rebel News takes no government money — not a dollar — which is exactly why we can run a campaign like this. It's just us — and you. Thank you.
