They are trying to stop Tamara Lich from doing her job.

Tamara has already endured years of prosecutions, court appearances and house arrest because of her peaceful role in the Freedom Convoy.

But under Canadian law, people serving house arrest are still allowed to work.

That is why Rebel News hired Tamara as our Community Ambassador and reporter. Before she started, we worked with her lawyer and probation officer to ensure that her employment complied with every court-ordered condition, including travel for work.

For months, Tamara travelled on approved reporting assignments. She interviewed Canadians, attended events, represented Rebel News and continued earning a living through honest work.

Then she attended a Fourth of July reception hosted by the U.S. Ambassador as a journalist.

The CBC, the New York Times and other establishment media outlets erupted in outrage. Soon afterwards, officials moved to prevent Tamara from travelling outside Alberta for work.

How can a national reporter cover Canada if she is not allowed to leave her province?

Rebel News is fighting to defend Tamara's right to earn a living and report across the country.
