Requirements

Must have face mask in airport, cannot board without it

Must wear face mask at airport screening checkpoints; during boarding and disembarking process; and during flight when 2 metres or less from another person who does not live in the same house as you

“A person must comply with any instructions given by a gate agent, a member of the aerodrome’s security personnel or a crew member with respect to wearing a face mask”

Exemptions

Children under age 2
Person who provides a medical certificate certifying that they are unable to wear a face mask for a medical reason
Person unable to remove their face mask without assistance
When the person’s safety could be endangered by wearing a mask
When eating or drinking
When the only other people within 2 metres of you are occupants of your own house

But, must comply with instructions given by crew and security personnel
