Clean Water

There are currently 27 First Nations communities facing long-term drinking water advisories in Canada — they need access to clean water now.

Clean and safe water is not a privilege, it is a fundamental human right.

That's why it is infuriating that in 2022 there are still countries in the world where access to safe water is limited, especially when one of those countries is a G7 nation like Canada.

This issue extends beyond politics. Indigenous communities are faced with toxic and carcinogenic water that prevents children from bathing more than once a week without burning their skin.

This is an emergency. Canadian Indigenous communities need action to address this current injustice — they need clean water now.
