Edmonton cuts police budget by $11M — as murder rate hits record high

The socialist Edmonton city council has voted to defund the police by about $11 million.

After hosting public hearings on policing, Council may not have looked closely at their crime rates in their city before moving to reduce the estimated $389-million policing budget and putting the money to “support community development, human services and housing.”

WATCH the video while I go through the crime and murder statistics for Edmonton in comparison with Canada's biggest city Toronto.

Edmonton’s crime rate per 100,000 was nearly double the national average in 2018, according to the last real data available, and the last real data available to Edmonton’s council.

And the council just cut the police budget because the mob had emotions about cops.

Good luck to you, Edmonton residents. You’re gonna need it.
