Scheer isn't “strong enough” to beat Wexit: UCP members walk out of CPC leader's speech
Andrew Scheer came to Calgary briefly this weekend for the United Conservative Party AGM, on an in-and-out mission to shore up support for his leadership.
It was a one way dialogue, without making any time available to meet with media, the only way some frustrated members were able to voice their distaste for the leader was by staging a walkout during his speech. With a crowd of hundreds, only just under a dozen actually left the convention hall.
Afterwards, they shared their disappointment with Scheer's record, saying if he can't win against “Trudeau at his worst”, how will he ever win?
