Convicted Maple Leaf Gardens sex offender was quietly released in December

Convicted sex offender and pedophile Gordon Stuckless was quietly released on parole on December 12, 2019 and has been living in a Hamilton halfway house ever since.

The news was broken by the Toronto Sun almost five weeks after Stuckless was released.

In 1997, Stuckless pleaded guilty to 100 charges related to luring and sexually assaulting 24 young boys while working at the Gardens between 1969 and 1988.

Stuckless was paroled in 2001 for those crimes, but since then, more victims have come forward leading to more convictions and a 10 year sentence in 2016.

The Ontario Parole Board has required Stuckless to continue his chemical castration and he must "refrain from having any contact with minors."

Stuckless is currently living in a halfway house one half block away from a park frequented by children.
