The social justice mob has found its newest target: Oscar-winning actress Anne Hathaway. The actress appeared in a recently released streaming film called The Witches where she portrays a character called the Grand High Witch in a 2020 adaptation of author Roald Dahl's novel of the same name.

In Dahl's version of the story, Hathaway's character is described as having thin curvy claws, like a cat. Warner Bros., the studio behind the film, described their creative process to Variety as work[ing] with designers and artists to come up with a new interpretation of the cat-like claws that are described in the book.

On a recent Rebel DAILY Livestream, hosts David Menzies and Sheila Gunn Reid broke down the numerous reasons why the cancel culture community is way off base with this one. After all, isn't this part of acting?
