First, Loblaws received $12 million for new refrigerators. Now, Canadian Tire — which had earnings of $14.07 billion in 2018 — has received a $2.7 million handout for electric car charging stations. And yet this is the same government that maintains our veterans are asking for “too much”? Wow...
