When Nova Scotians elected Chris d’Entremont as a Conservative MP, they were voting for fiscal responsibility, integrity, and accountability — not for another career politician willing to trade his principles for a pension. Just months after warning that another Liberal deficit would bankrupt the country, d’Entremont crossed the floor to join Mark Carney’s Liberals on budget day — the same day the new government announced a record-breaking $78 billion deficit.

This wasn’t an act of conscience; it was an act of self-preservation. He switched sides to save his job, not serve his voters. Crossing the floor without facing the people who elected you is political fraud, plain and simple. We’re calling for an immediate by-election so that the voters — not backroom deals — decide who represents them.

Add your name to demand accountability. If you betray your voters, you should face them again — no free passes, no safe landings.

Will you sign?

Politicians owe their electors a debt of gratitude. This floor-crossing shows the callous disregard this MP has for all who worked to elect him. Do we need such traitorous people in our government?
