🔴 LIVE: Farmers, truckies and riders SHUT DOWN Spring Street ahead of November election
Rebel News is LIVE from Parliament House as truckies, farmers, riders and emergency services volunteers rally to demand Victoria’s leaders fix the state before the November election.
Â
Trucks, tractors, motorbikes and fire trucks are rolling onto Spring Street as city and country Victorians unite on the steps of Parliament House.
The Victoria Unites rally, organised by the Across Victoria Alliance, is calling on politicians and election candidates to commit to real policies on transport, roads and fuel, protecting food production, and scrapping the Emergency Services Tax.
Organisers say Victorians are fed up with soaring energy bills, potholed roads, rising crime, and transmission lines and mineral sands mines being pushed onto family farms. Businesses across the state are being urged to shut their doors for 15 minutes at 11am in a show of unity.
