According to Daily Mail, 80-year-old Julie Jaman from Washington State was formally banned from a YMCA pool for asking a female-identifying biological male to leave the women's change room.

She claimed she witnessed a man in a women's bathing suit watching underaged girls use the restroom, which prompted her to ask the man to leave.

Julie then made her complaints known to an employee at YMCA who accused her of discriminating against the trans woman which resulted in her being "banned from the pool forever."

Wanting to protect female-only spaces does not warrant Julie's severe punishment.
