For months, Australia has witnessed a disturbing surge in antisemitic protests, targeting Jewish places of worship in Sydney and Melbourne.

These protests, aimed at spreading hatred and division, have grown increasingly violent. Now, the Adass Israel Synagogue in Ripponlea, Melbourne, has become the latest target of this unchecked hate, with a firebombing attack that narrowly avoided turning into a tragedy.

This attack is the result of months of growing hostility against Jewish communities, fueled by anti-Israel sentiment that has been allowed to spiral out of control. Jewish places of worship have been subjected to vile protests and authorities have done little to protect the Jewish community, failing to address the escalating danger.
