Save Young Bob!
Seventeen-year-old citizen journalist “Young Bob” (real name Thomas Moffit) is facing a shocking legal ordeal in the United Kingdom.
Despite being only 17, this mild-mannered but determined young man has already built a reputation for journalism — covering public events with honesty and courage.
But now the state is trying to silence him. Police arrested him and held him overnight in jail — not because he’s violent or criminal, but because they don’t like his journalism.
At 17, Thomas is legally a child. He can’t vote or drink, but he’s being treated like a hardened criminal simply for reporting on public issues.
Rebel News founder Ezra Levant flew to London to meet Thomas personally. Ezra wanted to ensure he had proper legal representation, and connected him with a lawyer named Tana Adelmann, who is one of the UK’s most experienced lawyers defending citizen journalists (she’s represented Tommy Robinson for years).
With your help, we can:
- Cover Young Bob’s immediate legal costs and court appearances
- Make sure he’s never alone when facing the police or the courts
- Send a clear signal to UK authorities that independent journalists are not “easy pickings”
How you can help

Together we can protect a promising young reporter, defend free speech, and show that intimidation tactics won’t work.
