Patty Hajdu lied to Canadians. The disgraced Minister of Health told media during a press conference on March 26 that passengers connecting to a secondary flight from one of Canada’s few remaining international airports would be given a mask to wear. This was supposedly to stop those passengers from infecting domestic passengers.
While it is hard to find that specific type of passenger, as they usually connect behind security, I was lucky enough to find a wayward passenger today who left security in search of an open restaurant. The passenger, connecting to Saskatoon, fashioned a DIY facemask with a Pilsner branded bandanna.
It doesn’t get more Canadian than that. And no, I am not referring to the beer-branded bandanna. I am referring to the commonality of citizens personally picking up the slack that their lying, lazy, contemptuous government leaves them.
