'Parks and Rec' actor Chris Pratt under fire for skipping Biden fundraiser

The hate mob is once again coming for actor Chris Pratt, after a weekend of attacks on the Avengers actor for his political and religious beliefs. This time, the outrage of social media users is related to Pratt's skipping of a Joe Biden fundraiser.

A number of Pratt's cast members rushed to his defence, including Robert Downey Jr and Zoe Salanda.

“What a world… The ‘sinless’ are casting stones at my brother, Chris Pratt… A real Christian who lives by principle, has never demonstrated anything but positivity and gratitude,” Downey stated in a post on Tuesday. “AND he just married into a family that makes space for civil discourse and (just plain fact) INSISTS on service as the highest value,” he added.

“If you take issue with Chris,,, I’ve got a novel idea,” concluded Downey. “Delete your social media accounts, sit with your OWN defects of character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness… @PrattPrattPratt I #gotyerbackbackback.”

Pratt’s fellow MCU co-stars took to social media to defend him from the mob. Fellow co-star Zoe Salanda took the brunt of the vile comments from users online after tweeting her support for Pratt.

“No matter how hard it gets, stick your chest out, keep your head up and handle it. -Tupac You got this @prattprattpratt. Your family, friends, colleagues & everyone who’s ever crossed paths with you knows your heart and your worth!” Zoe posted on social media.

Zoe was quickly demonised for sticking up for her friend, with users targeting her with horrific racial abuse.
