Canada's little-known carbon tax and climate change deal with France
I bet you haven’t heard much or anything at all about Canada’s climate deal with France.
It’s called the Canada-France Climate and Environment Partnership.
It’s a 2 year agreement, first signed in 2018 between the 2 countries requiring both commit to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, pricing carbon emissions, and developing green finance initiatives.”
Canada made a promise to France to carbon tax Canadians and cripple the oil and gas industry in Alberta and Macron promised to make life more expensive for French citizens, a move that has led to ongoing Yellow Vest protests in French streets.
Joining me today is Michelle Stirling from Friends of Science to discuss this little known climate treaty, what happened in climate news at Davos, as well as some of Friends of Science’s recent reports and analysis of recent global warming alarmist issues.
