(Having trouble watching tonight's show? Please contact [email protected])

Late last night, I received a phone call from our reporter Anna Slatz, who has been reporting on the riots and demonstrations in Washington, DC and New York City.

She told me she had been arrested by the NYPD for being out after curfew — even though reporters are specifically exempted from those laws.

I immediately contacted a lawyer in New York City, and another, and as of right now, I can tell you that while Anna remains behind bars, we are working very hard with this legal "dream team" to get her released.

Tonight, I speak to three special guests:

One of our NYC lawyers, Michael Weinstock, isn't just an attorney — he was also a 9/11 firefighter! I know you'll enjoy hearing what he has to say.

Back in Canada, our own legal counsel, Aaron Rosenberg, joins me to talk about why this arrest is a violation of our rights to free speech and a free press.

And finally: When Anna was arrested, I contacted one of her friends who is also a Rebel News employee — Yanky Pollak, who works on our social media. He's based in Montreal, but when I asked him to drive to New York City to make sure Anna would be greeted by a friendly face when she was released, he didn't hesitate.

Again, if you can help us pay our legal bills for this fight to free our reporter, please visit SaveAnnaSlatz.com.

Thank you.
