Meet the wannabe new boss... same as the exiting old boss? Conservative Party of Canada leader hopeful Peter MacKay was in Toronto recently for a meet and greet event.

We wanted to ask him some questions - namely, what’s his opinion of the Commissioner of Canada Elections having a couple of ex-cop bureaucrats interrogating Ezra Levant for having the temerity to write a book that is critical of Justin Trudeau?

But despite Mr. MacKay staying earlier that he was looking forward to “thoughtful and principled discussions” he had precious little to say about such a profound freedom of speech issue (and his handlers chastised us for breaking their “no questions” policy.)
