Pro-life pastor: Black Lives Matter ignores “genocide of black babies”

How do you protect an anti-abortion protest from those who comprise the rank and file of the far-left? Easy-peasy: just play the Afro-Indigenous card!

That’s precisely what Pastor David Lynn did on Saturday near Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. He cleverly staged an event billed as an “Anti-Abortion protest supporting black, indigenous and all babies.”

And what do you know? It went off without a hitch, with no Antifa-types coming out to harass the pastor and his supporters.

And Lynn, by the way, is used to harassment: a while back he was arrested for preaching the gospel in the heart of Toronto’s gay village. Even though the pastor said nothing hateful, some hysterical members of Toronto’s radicalized LGBTQ+++ community reacted with outrage and called the police, who actually hauled Lynn away in handcuffs (the charges were later dropped.)

As for Pastor Lynn’s most recent event, it should be noted that there is indeed a race and gender angle that is inherent to the abortion debate (although the left is loathe to talk about it.)

For example, in the U.S., even though black women make up only 13 per cent of the U.S. female population, according to the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), 35.6 per cent of abortions are performed on black women.

On average, 900 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.

Where is Black Lives Matter when it comes to this file?

And what about the inconvenient truth of sex-selective abortions? According to a comprehensive study by the National University of Singapore, at least 23 million female babies have been aborted since the 1970s simply because they were not male.

What does the feminist movement have to say about this particular act of gender genocide? (Insert the sound of crickets chirping here…)

In any event, hats off to Pastor Lynn and his supporters for ingeniously staging a politically correct anti-abortion protest that was not shutdown by either Antifa or the police. Well played, sir!
