On March 12, vaccine passports were lifted in the province of Quebec by the Legault government. However, the lifting of this measure seems to have given various possibilities to institutions to use it according to their own criteria.

It is the case for the Edgewater school in Montreal. Lianne Watt, a mother, was denied access to her daughter's extracurricular activities because of her immunization status, even though this measure should no longer be required. According to the school, the decision was made by the board of directors and was justified for the students' safety and health.

However, in a conversation with the Ministry of Health, it was confirmed that no school board should continue to require it.

Here is the full report of Ms. Watt's story.
