Trudeau has already set precedent to be involved in Two Michael's case
On Thursday's edition of The Ezra Levant Show, Ezra was joined by Manny Montenegrino of Think Sharp Inc. to discuss the situation of the two Michael's, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor.
Manny shared his opinion that because of Prime Minister Trudeau's meddling in the SNC-Lavalin Affair, the precedent has already been set for Trudeau to take action in the case of the "Two Michaels" being held hostage in China:
"Brian Greenspan made a wonderful argument that in law there is the legal ability for the minister of justice to get involved, but there has to be a compelling reason why.
And the compelling reason why in this case points directly to the prime minister.
He has conducted himself in such a way... that gives the right to use that clause in the extradition act"
Full episodes of The Ezra Levant Show are available every Monday through Friday at 8 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. MT to subscribers of Rebel News+.
