Trudeau quietly welcomes China's tech company Huawei to handle Canadian telecoms grid
Five eyes intelligence agencies around the world had been pushing to keep China's electronics company Huawei out of the telecom networks of member countries. That didn't stop Justin Trudeau from approving always access to 4G infrastructure in Canada's North.
This comes on the back of many missteps from the Trudeau government on the China file. From his defense minister celebrating with the Communists at their 70th anniversary party to his Trudeau's complete silence on Donald Trump signing the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act, something is not adding up on Canada's Chinese foreign policy.
