SubscribeOn last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, we looked at the news that former Conservative leader Andrew Scheer had used public funds to hire his sister-in-law.
Here's a bit of what Ezra had to say:
“Trudeau is crooked. That’s a fact — he has been convicted again and again of breaking the conflict of interest act. We know he’s corrupt. But in this case, he can say, with honesty, that he cracked down on his corrupt MP immediately. He really did. Erin O’Toole can’t say the same thing, can he?
“Scheer is still sitting in his front bench.
“Why? Is it the massive, deep love amongst party members for Scheer? Yeah, no. Remember, Scheer got just 21 per cent of the party’s votes in the first ballot, when he ran three years ago. No-one wanted him as their first choice. He was everyone’s second choice. Or third choice. Or fourth choice. Actually, he didn’t win until the 13th ballot. No-one wanted him. There was never any Scheer-mania. No-one knew him. No-one knew what a grifter he was.
“Well, then why keep him? Unlike an actual Parliamentary work-horse like Pierre Poilievre, Scheer hasn’t done a thing in the past year, except collect his paycheque.”
This is just an excerpt from the full Ezra Levant Show.
