LIVE: Allison Inquiry into COVID vaccine injuries underway in Ottawa
The inquiry into Canadians suffering from injuries linked to COVID-19 vaccines organized by Conservative MP Dean Allison kicked off on Tuesday morning, with four days of testimony set to give those harmed by the vaccines permission to speak publicly about what happened to them.

Conservative MP Dean Allison has organized an inquiry into injuries caused by COVID-19 vaccines through a process that has operated largely outside the formal structures of Parliament, driven instead by volunteer effort and the work of inquiry counsel Shawn Buckley.
The Allison Inquiry came together after years of vaccine-injured Canadians reporting that the medical system refused to acknowledge what had happened to them.
Canada's official vaccine injury support program, launched alongside the vaccine rollout and now called the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program, consumed the majority of its budget on the consultancy firm administering it, took nearly three years to become operational, and left hundreds of applicants waiting years for decisions.
Rebel News reporter Tamara Ugolini's access to information investigation exposed the program's failures in detail, including how consultants were profiting while vaccine-injured Canadians suffered in silence.
Over 1,400 Canadians applied to testify at the Allison Inquiry. Four days of sworn testimony are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, with a team of doctors reviewing applications and selecting witnesses based on the severity and documentation of their injuries.
Allison has said his central goal is simple: giving vaccine-injured Canadians permission to speak publicly about what happened to them — and cracking open a conversation the political and medical establishment has worked hard to shut down.
