Canada-U.S. trade deal, Migrants and gender equality, U.S. Consulate terror charges | Rebel Roundup

Sheila Gunn Reid and Tamara Ugolini discuss the top stories of the day in this edition of the Rebel Roundup livestream.

Sheila Gunn Reid and Tamara Ugolini are LIVE for the Rebel Roundup livestream! (which airs every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 1 p.m. ET/11 a.m. MT)

Show Notes

Today, we're looking at the trade deal that is apparently in the works between Canada and the United States following a discussion between Prime Minister Mark Carney and President Donald Trump — and whether it will actually improve Canada's struggling economy.

Plus, migrants in the United Kingdom are being given "helpful" booklets informing them of gender equality and warning asylum seekers not to rape women.

And finally, a 54-year-old man born in Iran and who moved to Canada has been charged with terrorism offences following a bomb threat made toward the U.S. Consulate in Halifax.
