Docs show critical response to Trudeau's online harms legislation
READ: The Rest of the Online Harms Consultation Story: Canadian Heritage Forced to Release Hundreds of Public Submissions Under Access to Information Law by Prof. Michael Geist
On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, we looked through a a report by the professor Michael Geist, who has first-hand information that various editorials criticizing Trudeau’s take-over of the media have been approved by low-level editors at Canada’s newspapers — but then they are spiked by senior bosses at newspapers.
Prof. Geist filed an access to information request asking for the public submissions sent to the government in response to their online harms legislation proposal last year, and he received the results yesterday — a 1,200 page compendium of public remarks, overwhelmingly critical of the government.
This is just an excerpt from the full Ezra Levant Show.
